Hi Martin, I have read Anything can be Healed and am currently eagerly awaiting the arrival of Improve your Vision. Being a few years over the age of 40 I began wearing glasses a few years ago for age related long sightedness - Presbyopia. My question is what does this imply in terms of healing within the body mirror system given that it is such a common thing for the older age group. Is it due to build up of our own issues / past denials as we get older ? Hence not wanting to see whats right in front of us? Or because we don't want to 'see' ourselves getting older? And why does it get progressively 'worse' ? What does this imply in terms of our healing? Thank you, Alisonx

It means that there is less of a tendency to look at a future, being a bit pre-occupied with past events, and not thinking of yourself as important as others. It is a perception encouraged by society, and shows the degree to which the person has accepted these values of a society that does not think of age in a healthy way.
As one gets older, one is generally considered as getting useless, and when one reaches a certain age, they are not allowed to work. How interesting it is that many world leaders are older than that.
Anyway, it is indeed societal, and not universal.

That does make perfect sense - the older we get the more of a past etc. I have been working hard on myself for the past 2 - 3 years and use Reiki a lot too. I haven't even had a cold in 3 years and I was always getting them before, and my health has never been better - except for the bell's palsy but i'm working on that and 2 and a half years on i continue to see improvement. I became aware of the vision thing a while ago and have purchased weaker glasses and am endeavouring to inprove my eyesight. I meditate daily and I know it definately helps given the relaxing of tension in the eyes.Your book had arrived when I got home last night so I am now engrossed in it and looking forward to starting the exercises. I note that when I am outside in good daylight conditions I can read text of a reasonable size without any glasses. It is more to do with increasingly smaller writing on labels nowadays and poor lighting . I am coming along to Eastbourne next month and looking forward to it immensely. Thank you, Alisonx
