Hi, my mother who is 81 yrs has just been diagnosed with an optic disc that has falllen forwards and is pressing on her optic nerve. She has an aztec 'band' across the middle of her right eye and can no longer read. The Opthamologists have said there is nothing they can do and her vision will not improve.
She is keen to try and heal this with affirmations etc as she believes that if it happened suddenly it can go away suddenly. She believes it is due to some unresolved past issue that she wants to addresss.
What could be the root cause of this?
She has only 20% vision in her left eye as years ago when she was in her thirties she contracted a herpes infection in that eye which deteriorated over the years and has left her with her present sight allowance in that eye.
If you could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated. Thank you,

The right eye is the male eye. Something about not seeing the male? Her man?
The herpes in the left eye may be telling a sotry of anger - blind rage about something? She can look at what was happening in her life at that time.
