After cutting my head off, I saw it falling into the river. Without my head I couldn't think anymore and, surprisingly, the images were clearer. My vision improved. So the thoughts were the fog. Without a mind I became an animal again, an animal always in search of food and sex, and felt much happier than before because I realized that most human beings are not very happy and call their unhappyness "evolution".

Before, it used to be, "I think, therefore I am."
Now, it is "I think, therefore I am not."
Yes, the thoughts were the fog.
Congratulations - and you will discover that there is much more than just food and sex, as important as those may be.

Respectfully, IMO, it is still, "I think, therefore I am". Problem is, it is WHAT we think that determines our experience. "If you think you can, you can; If you think you cannot, you cannot." (Don't know who said it) "I can be what I will (choose) to be." Charles Haanel From his book, The Master Key, referred to, the author that is, in Rhonda Brynes's book, The Secret. And we all know by now what the "secret" is, right? Namaste, Bella

Anyway, when you stop thinking, you experience just being.
To say, "I Am," you must Just Be. Then you experience I Am consciousness.

Well Bella, Some people consider that the mind is who they are. Other people consider that the mind is one of their tools. I prefer the second option.

I'm with you, "Johnny Guest"... The mind is a tool. And with Jose Silva, "The mind runs the brain and the brain runs the body." And with Michaelangelo, "I am always learning." And with...but that's enough for one day! Namaste, Bella
