Just finished watching... very helpful, thank you Student. I know I'll watch this again when I have time. I'm not sure why, but one of the ideas, emerging from "The Secret", which most amazed me is (something along the lines of): "Our thoughts transcend space and time" and thus, it seems, our thoughts are "eternal"... fascinating idea... I guess, though, that rather than analizing how and why these ideas work, it's important to learn putting them into practice. Step 1: Positive thinking Step 2: Visualization Step 3: Follow up

This is nothing new except step 3. I have never heard about "following up". I just to let the thouts fly and do not think about it any more.

The three steps we use are:
1. Decide what will be true in the new reality; 2. Encourage the perception that it's happening now; 3. Decide that now, it's true.
Positive thinking and visualizing are good tools for steps 1 and 2 - and then when your perceptions and experience show that you are in the new reality, it's done. No need to do anything further. Just get on with your new life, in which things happen in a different way.
Anyway, "The Secret" is a wonderful tool, and a great reminder of who you are and how things can work.
