Hi, I briefly describe myself. I am 40 years old and I have a farsightedness problem on both eyes, which has been improving very much, but it has not healed completely. I wore glasses since I was 5 years old until seven years ago, and I needed them to do everything. Seven years ago I decided to wear them only when necessary. As a demonstration to my healing process, I passed the driving license sight test some months ago, so I no longer need them even to drive now. Lately I started meditating by following Martin's system instructions, and I had never seen any colour while doing it, even while concentrating on the different chakras and colours. This morning for the first time, after focusing my attention to all of the chakras and started imagining that I was surrounded by a white light, I saw a 3 inch (about) diameter light white ball, which was positioned between the two eyes, at about the sixth chakra. The white was very light, and it lasted for about 30 seconds, then it disappeared and I didn't see it again. May this light have any particular meaning? Can it be the 'White light' Martin talks about in his system? Thanks a lot. Mino

Hi, Mino,
Not really the White Light I have been talking about, but anyway, something. That's good.
I would say that it represents your Spirit, so it sounds as though you are getting into deeper aspects of your Self.
When you are doing the meditation with the colors, if you do not immediately see the color, pretend you do. Make believe it is there, and see how that works for you. See if you then have an impression of that color, or a different color. If it is a different color, change it to the right color.
The vision improvement CD I have made uses progressive relaxation of each part of your body, and then you would imagine that part glowing with White Light. This one is more calming than the one with the colors, which tends to be more energizing.

Hi Martin, thanks a lot for your reply. Do you think it's not unusual for me not to have been able to see chakras and their colors or maybe is there something not done properly during the meditation? Best regards, Mino

Hi, Mino,
I think it's more a matter of not trusting what you do see, when it is much more subtle than with your eyes open - and denying the vision because it feels to you as though you are imagining it.
Do not let the subjective nature of the experience be a reason for invalidating the perception.

Hi Martin, do you mean that I cannot see them as I expect to see them the same as when I see them with open eyes? If that'so, you are right, as that's just what I was expecting. I understand that it should be more a matter of perception, for instance I should have a perception for red, another one for blue, etc. However, should I train myself in order to be able to have color perceptions or could I have them even the first time I try to do so during the meditation? Thanks. Mino

If you imagine you are seeing the colors, you will be seeing them. Pretend you are seeing them, and you are.

Ok, so it's related to imagination. However, you wrote that I may have an impression of the color while imagining it.
>When you are doing the meditation with the colors, if you do not immediately see the color, pretend you do. Make believe it is there, and see how that works for you. See if you then have an impression of that color, or a different color. If it is a different color, change it to the right color.
What's this impression about? Is it something similar to the impression I have with open eyes or is it more related to perceptions? What if I never have these impressions? Does that imply that something is wrong or can it be normal to never have them?

It's common to not trust your impressions if you have not been working in this way before - but there is nothing wrong with you, and in thirty years I have never come across anyone that could not do this. It's just a matter of trusting what it feels like you are imagining.
Do it as though you are playing "make believe." As if you are six years old again, just playing with your imagination. Make believe or imagine that you are surrounded by red, and you will see what I mean.

All healers using the Body Mirror System techniques see the colors. Perhaps you should check out my book, or come to a class. It seems as though you have a natural sensitivity for this kind of work.
