Good morning from the USA What would the emotional mindset be behind this organic condition? I have two aquaintances with this disorder, superficially they are of different "personalities", but one is determined to do the best she can with what eyesight she retains, such as knitting, and is cheerful and helpful to others, tho her sight is poor, she continues to teach needle arts at our Senior Center.; while the other , more a woman of "faith", is angry her paryers are not answered and fears the future. Thanks for any and all reponses. Namaste with love, Bella

HI Bella, From a Body Mirror standpoint it would seem that for each woman there is something about life that they are not willing to see. I wonder also if they might be somewhat buying into the general population viewpoint that eyesight worsens as we age? For the angry woman I got the picture that she may be angry about her faith for many reasons and this is just more "proof" that prayer's don't work. Anyway, that's my 2 cents Peace, Maria

The interesting question would be about what was happening in their lives when the symptoms appeared - and to see what the similarities are.
Separation from someone? Sense of isolation? No future to look forward to?
